An exceptional add-on to the Babysitter Courses is the Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification. This will provide piece of mind to parents and employers that you are fully competent and committed to the best possible care of their infants and children.
This in-person, Instructor-led course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills.
The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response.
Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion.
Course Duration approximately 4 hours 30 minutes
This Instructor-led course incorporates all the information in the Babysitter's Training with teaching students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head/neck/back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help pediatric victims of any age up to 12 years of age.
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
